Town of Dinosaur, CO – Solid Waste Disposal Challenge.
The Council responded to a request for assistance from the Town to do technical research analyzing their waste disposal problems and recommending several solutions. 35 hours of research were performed and a comprehensive report was submitted to the Town Council in February 2007.

2008 Colorado Weed Calendar
Project Manager Steve Anthony and crew put together another splendid product. The 10th anniversary addition of the Colorado Weed Calendar focused on invasive species in and around municipal areas. Photos and supporting text written and edited by Steve and his loyal band of volunteers were woven into a highly educational tool. In all, more than 15,000 units were published and distributed.

On-Going Projects

Partnership Grant Program
Part of the 2007 Plan of Work, this program was designed to donate Council funds to organizations in support of their efforts in projects that fit with our Council’s mission. More than 100 letters went out to nonprofit organizations, schools and other agencies. Our Board of Directors reviewed grant applications and awarded grants in January, 2008.
